Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer at Alber Blanc, you will build internal tools and automate business processes. The role also includes hands-on office IT support and helping employees resolve day-to-day technical issues.

Responsibilities

•Develop our automation platform, integrations and employee portal.

•Provide hands-on office IT support: set up workstations, maintain meeting room equipment and help employees resolve hardware and software issues.

•Automate onboarding, offboarding, approvals and other HR and administrative processes.

•Administer Slack, ClickUp, BambooHR and other corporate systems, including user access.

•Manage the equipment lifecycle, SaaS licenses and relationships with IT vendors.

Requirements

•Experience developing internal services and integrations using REST APIs, webhooks and SQL.

•Understanding of retries, idempotency, deduplication, database transactions and recovery from partial failures.

•Experience deploying and maintaining services on Linux and administering corporate systems.

•Ability to clarify business requirements and independently deliver working solutions.

Core stack

•TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker Compose, Linux and AWS EC2

Nice to have

•Experience with workflow engines, Slack bots and AI tools.

•Experience building internal IT services from scratch.
