Head waiter

Maintain high levels of personal hygiene, appearance, and adherence to Health & Safety rules. Ensure all working areas, utensils, and service stations are clean and organized before, during, and after service. Welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and provide attentive service. Present menus and beverage lists, explaining food and drink options professionally. Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and supervise proper execution of service by subordinates. Prepare buffet areas and monitor presentation, cleanliness, and replenishment. Coach and guide junior staff on restaurant service standards and hotel procedures. Monitor guest satisfaction during meals, proactively responding to requests or concerns. Handle billing procedures and ensure accuracy in transactions. Address minor complaints courteously and escalate serious incidents. Coordinate with kitchen staff.

Required: Good command of Greek and English; additional languages are an advantage. Previous experience as Head Waiter or similar role in hotel or restaurant environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent guest service abilities. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu items, and wine service. Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team effectively. Calm and professional under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.
