Why this role matters

A Trading Core Support Engineer is responsible for the administration, stability, and continuous improvement of core trading systems, including execution engines, LP connectivity, and data infrastructure. The role combines advanced technical support, automation, and system-level expertise, ensuring reliable trading operations and contributing to the evolution of trading platforms.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

•Maintain and operate core trading systems (execution engines, LP connectivity, databases, client applications).

•Ensure high availability and performance through advanced monitoring setup (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and proactive system health management.

•Investigate and resolve complex technical and trading-related issues.

•Identify anomalies in pricing, execution, and system behavior, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.

•Work closely with Risk Monitoring, Engineering, and Product teams to respond to incidents, support trading operations, and ensure timely resolution of critical issues in real-time environments.

•Support delivery and testing of new features and components.

•Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to bring new services into production.

•Provide expert knowledge, maintain documentation, and support internal teams.

•Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

•Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements using DevOps practices and tools.

Who we’re looking for

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

•3+ years of experience with MetaQuotes platforms (MT4, MT5) or similar

•3+ years of experience in brokerage trading environments (LPs, execution engines, DBs, client applications)

•Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus or similar)

•Scripting/programming skills (Python, R, Bash, PowerShell, Git)

•Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, HashiCorp, TeamCity or similar)

•Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse or similar)

•Strong understanding of Forex, CFDs, and OTC products

•Understanding of B2C and B2B models

•Basic data analysis skills (Python, Excel, charting)

•Experience in using AI Tools for daily tasks and analysis
