Carpenter

The Carpenter is responsible for the repair, finishing, and maintenance of hotel structures, furniture, and fixtures. This role ensures high-quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to hotel standards, supporting the overall guest experience and smooth operation of the property.

•Read and interpret blueprints, designs, and sketches to understand project requirements.

•Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and volume of materials needed.

•Cut, shape, and smooth wood and other materials (e.g., fiberglass) according to specifications.

•Build and install window frames, doors, stairs, furniture, and other fixtures.

•Install flooring, drywall, and coverings, ensuring proper alignment and finish.

•Inspect areas and perform repairs or maintenance as required.

•Set up scaffolding and other construction structures safely.

Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and manual dexterity. Familiarity with hotel safety procedures and regulations.
