Pool technician

The Pool Technician is responsible for supervising and maintaining the hotel's swimming pools and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and availability of all poolside equipment. This role directly contributes to guest satisfaction by providing a safe, well-maintained, and enjoyable pool environment.

•Perform duties based on work instructions, Supervisor guidance, and hotel policies.

•Maintain a polite and guest-oriented attitude at all times.

•Ensure that pools and surrounding areas are clean, neat, and free from hazards that could affect guest safety.

•Monitor pool use to ensure only guests access the facility.

•Conduct daily cleaning of swimming pools and participate in checks as requested by the Chief Engineer.

•Maintain and keep the pool engine room clean and organized.

•Clean and arrange poolside beds, umbrellas, and tables each morning, including repairs as needed.

•Complete daily inspection forms and maintain accurate records.

•Ensure no glass items are used in the pool area to prevent injuries.

•Follow emergency procedures in case of contamination and immediately notify the Head of Technical Department for proper cleaning and disinfection.

•Protect guests' personal property in the pool area.

Skills & Qualifications: Pleasant and approachable personality with strong guest service skills. Familiarity with water safety and swimming practices. Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing concepts. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Valid First Aid Certificate. Attention to detail and ability to follow Health & Safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
