Security Officer

To ensure the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment and responding effectively to security-related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Patrol the hotel premises regularly to ensure safety and security standards are maintained

•Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control procedures

•Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns in a professional manner

•Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, accidents, and disturbances

•Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports

•Control access to restricted areas and verify visitor identification where necessary

•Coordinate with hotel management and emergency services when required

•Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and emergency procedures

•Prevent loss, damage, theft, or unauthorized access to hotel property

•Provide a visible security presence to promote guest confidence and safety

Required Qualifications and Skills:

•A valid Security Guard License will be considered an additional qualification. Otherwise, the hotel can provide the required Security License and training

•Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

•Ability to work on shifts (no overnight shifts)

•Clear criminal record required

•Driving License

•Knowledge of Greek and English; additional languages are considered an advantage
