The DC Inbound Outbound Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the distribution center (DC). This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of associates to ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety protocols. The DC Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive productivity, and achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

•Oversee daily Inbound (receiving, inspection, put-away, system entry) and Outbound (picking, packing, loading) operations

•Ensure all shipments are accurately received, verified against purchase orders, and recorded in the WMS

•Monitor order accuracy and conduct quality checks to maintain high operational standards

•Supervise the flow of goods within the warehouse and ensure efficient inventory handling

•Track stock levels and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers

•Lead and support the team, allocating tasks effectively and ensuring smooth daily execution

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, sales, customer service) to resolve operational issues

•Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

•Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and proper use of equipment

•Review performance metrics, prepare operational reports, and plan upcoming activities

Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

•Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations or logistics.

•Strong leadership and team management skills for motivating and developing staff.

•Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.

•Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and compliance standards.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team interaction.

•Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions. …
