Technician

The Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and preventive tasks related to hotel equipment and installations. This role ensures the smooth operation of all hotel systems, supports Health & Safety compliance, and contributes to a seamless guest experience. Shifts may be scheduled in the morning or night depending on operational needs.

•Perform assigned tasks carefully under the supervision of the Chief Engineer or senior staff.

•Maintain all equipment and installations during the assigned shift across all hotel areas, departments, and rooms.

•Follow work instructions, Chief Engineer guidance, and hotel policies to execute maintenance and repair tasks.

•Implement preventive maintenance programs for technical, electro-hydraulic, and other hotel systems.

•Take necessary actions to handle daily work efficiently and effectively.

•Maintain professional appearance and conduct, being polite and guest-oriented at all times.

•Keep all department work areas clean and organized, including engine rooms and workshops.

•Collaborate and communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and other hotel departments.

•Report field events and incidents to the Chief Engineer promptly.

•Demonstrate initiative and responsibility, particularly regarding Health & Safety, fire prevention, and use of protective equipment.

•Complete daily inspection forms and maintain accurate records.

Skills & Qualifications: Previous hotel maintenance experience. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry concepts. Ability to communicate effectively in Greek and English. Ability to compute and perform mathematical calculations accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures and fire prevention measures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance, attitude, and guest-oriented mindset.
