Waiter

The Restaurant Waiter is responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant, taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience.

•Welcome guests and escort them to their tables, paying attention to guests with special needs.

•Present menus and provide knowledge of food and beverage items, including wines, to assist guest choices.

•Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.

•Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and quality.

•Clear tables, carry dishes, trays, and silverware to the kitchen, and maintain side service points.

•Set and reset tables, replace tablecloths, glassware, and condiments according to hotel standards.

•Monitor guests during meals, checking satisfaction and responding politely to requests or complaints.

•Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment before, during, and after service.

•Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

•Assist with special events, banquets, or catering duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications: Good command of Greek and English; additional languages are an advantage. Previous experience in a similar waiter role in a hotel or restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Friendly, professional, and service-minded personality. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently while cooperating with the team.
